An Insurance Sales Consultant identifies client insurance needs, recommends suitable coverage (life, health, casualty), and drives sales to meet targets. They prospect for new business, build long-term client relationships, provide expert advice, manage policy renewals, and guide clients through the claims process while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Generation: Actively seek new clients via networking, referrals, and cold calling to sell insurance policies.
  • Needs Analysis: Analyze client financial status and risk exposure to recommend tailored insurance packages.
  • Client Consultation: Explain complex policy terms, benefits, and exclusions to clients.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain client records, assist with policy renewals, and provide ongoing customer support.
  • Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the insurance claims process and documentation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
