Overview
We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, generating leads, closing deals, and nurturing strong client relationships. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Support

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and messages professionally.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Provide accurate information on products, services, pricing, and promotions.

Sales & Lead Generation

  • Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Convert prospects into customers and successfully close sales.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Follow up with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions in the CRM system.

Issue Resolution & Coordination

  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and service delivery.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of leads, conversions, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.

Experience

  • 0–2 years in customer service, sales, or a call center environment preferred.
  • Prior call center experience is an advantage.
