Job Requirements – Sales Engineer
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project sales within the MEP industry.
- Strong exposure to oil & gas sector requirements, specifications, and approval procedures.
- Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, and project procurement teams.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Solid knowledge of MEP products: pumps, valves, HDPE/PPR/UPVC piping systems, firefighting products, and electrical components.
- Ability to interpret drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to generate leads, manage project enquiries, and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- UAE market awareness and strong customer relationship skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify and manage project enquiries; prepare quotations and technical submittals.
- Build strong relationships with consultants, EPC contractors, and procurement teams.
- Conduct site visits, coordinate meetings, and deliver technical presentations.
- Track projects, prepare sales forecasts, and analyze market opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments for pricing, delivery, and after-sales support.
- Ensure company products are included in project specifications and approved vendor lists.
