Sales Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our company. The Estimator will be responsible for evaluating project specifications, analyzing site conditions, and preparing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial fencing projects. The ideal candidate has knowledge of fencing materials and installation techniques, strong math and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a detailed review of inquiries along with all supporting documents (ITB, SOW, RFQ, and BOQ).
• Evaluate the scope of work based on the inquiry received.
• Prepare cost estimates and overall project estimations.
• Technically review quotations after proposals are prepared by Sohail / Samel.
• Analyze drawings in PDF and CAD formats during the estimation process.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure accuracy and completeness of the estimation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the fencing, construction, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of chain-link fencing materials, installation methods, and relevant codes/regulations.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and takeoffs.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant tools.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years estimating experience in the fencing or construction industry.
• Experience with CAD, or similar tools is a plus.
