Sales Responsibilities – Accounting & Tax Consultant

Client Acquisition & Lead Generation

Identify and approach potential clients through networking, referrals, and cold outreach.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects for accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, tax, and advisory services.

Conduct presentations, meetings, and consultations with prospects to understand their needs.

Service Promotion & Cross-Selling

Explain the firm’s service offerings clearly (accounting, tax filing, VAT registration, compliance, audit support, etc.).

Recommend additional services such as payroll, corporate tax planning, or advisory to existing clients.

Stay updated on market trends and competitor offerings to position services effectively.

Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing excellent pre- and post-sales support.

Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries about services and fees.

Ensure timely follow-up on proposals, quotations, and contracts.

Sales Targets & Reporting

Work towards monthly/quarterly sales targets set by management.

Prepare quotations, proposals, and engagement letters as per client requirements.

Maintain proper records of sales activities in CRM or reporting tools.

Provide weekly/monthly sales reports to management.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

Coordinate with accounting and tax teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

Communicate client expectations clearly to the operations team.

Provide feedback from clients to improve services and packages.

Compliance & Professional Standards

Adhere to ethical sales practices and avoid misrepresentation of services.

Ensure all client documentation is collected and submitted as per compliance requirements.

Keep updated with changes in tax laws and accounting regulations to provide accurate information.
