Sales Executive plays a vital role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting the company’s freight forwarding and logistics services. This position requires a strong focus on customer acquisition, retention, and delivering tailored shipping solutions across air, sea, and land freight.
The Sales Executive will act as the face of the company to clients, ensuring that customer needs are understood, solutions are effectively presented, and long-term partnerships are developed.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain solutions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients across industries such as import/export, wholesale, retail, perishables, and re-exports.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, maintain, and expand strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Provide tailored solutions based on client requirements (air, sea, land freight, customs clearance, warehousing, cross-trade, etc.).
- Ensure customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Market Research & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in target markets.
- Provide feedback to management on pricing strategies, service offerings, and client demands.
- Support in developing marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
- Coordinate with finance on invoicing and collections when needed.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to review pipeline and strategy.

Skills & Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1- 2 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry (UAE/GCC experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, customs regulations, and logistics solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Desirable:
- Existing client portfolio in freight forwarding.
- Multilingual skills (Arabic, Hindi, or other regional languages).
- Valid UAE driving license.
