osition: Business Development Executive – Freight ForwardingJob Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with commercial and corporate importers for freight forwarding services.
- Generate sales inquiries for Air Freight, Sea Freight, LCL, FCL, and related logistics solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat and long-term business.
- Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and presentations to promote company services.
- Negotiate freight rates and prepare customized proposals based on client requirements.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely execution of shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions.
- Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree will be preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Proven experience in sales or business development within freight forwarding/logistics.
- Strong understanding of import/export processes, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
- Established network with commercial and corporate importers (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Target-driven, with strong time management and organizational skills.
