Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Data Center Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for a range of mission-critical infrastructure products and services. The role covers data center technical cleaning, epoxy flooring, load bank testing, HVAC solutions, Monitoring systems, UPS systems, and batteries. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with consultative sales skills to deliver tailored solutions for enterprise, telecom, and colocation clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets in the data center solutions portfolio.
  • Promote and sell services and products including:
  • Data center technical cleaning
  • Epoxy flooring solutions
  • Load bank testing and services
  • HVAC systems and cooling solutions
  • Monitoring and environmental monitoring systems
  • UPS systems and batteries for critical power backup
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with consultants, contractors, facility managers, and end-users.
  • Conduct customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions to identify requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, and service teams to prepare proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure win–win outcomes.
  • Track industry trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics to management.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of sales experience in data center infrastructure, facilities management, or critical power/cooling solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of data center cleaning, flooring, cooling, UPS/batteries, and monitoring technologies.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Desired Skills

  • Existing client network in the data center, telecom, or enterprise sectors.
  • Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, ISO, TIA-942).
  • Experience in solution/consultative sales with a focus on mission-critical environments.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., UPS, HVAC, CDCP, or equivalent) are a plus.
