Sales Manager – Building Materials (Project Sales)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our project sales division in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, strong knowledge of the construction industry, and a successful track record in driving sales growth while managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Define KPIs, monitor team performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance product knowledge and negotiation skills.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth goals.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management.

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and consultants.
  • Support the team in high-value negotiations and project closures.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through timely service and support.

4. Recruitment & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and train new sales professionals.
  • Promote continuous learning, career growth, and team development.

5. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and building materials sector.
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics for seamless project execution.

6. Sales Reporting & Analytics

  • Track and analyze sales performance to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Recommend corrective actions to maximize sales effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in the building materials/construction sector.
  • Expertise in project sales of tiles, marble, paints, lighting, sanitaryware, or related products.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
