Sales Manager (Sales in Hotels Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team in the hotel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase room revenue, attract new business, and maintain relationships with existing clients. You will play a key role in driving the hotel's business growth through proactive sales activities and strong customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals across all hotel segments (corporate, leisure, MICE, group bookings, etc.)
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotions and packages that attract target audiences
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust strategies as needed
  • Manage sales-related activities within the hotel property management system (PMS/CRM)
  • Work closely with the front office, reservations, banquet, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting to hotel management
  • Participate in trade shows, sales trips, and client events to promote the hotel brand

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the hotel or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, sales techniques, and customer relationship management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in hotel sales software and CRM tools (e.g., Opera, Delphi, Salesforce)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
  • Willingness to travel locally or internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 or 5-star hotel
  • Familiarity with local and international corporate markets
  • Multilingual skills are a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
