Sales Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the cold chain sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable cold chain solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct regular client visits, follow-ups, and account management.
Operations Responsibilities
- Oversee daily cold chain logistics, storage, and distribution operations.
- Coordinate with transport teams, warehouse staff, and service providers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor temperature-controlled operations to ensure product integrity.
- Track shipments, resolve operational issues, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, dispatches, and operational reports.
- Ensure adherence to cold chain compliance standards and safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, operations, and customer support teams for seamless service execution.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations with professionalism.
- Assist in planning and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years in sales and operations within the cold chain or temperature-controlled logistics industry.
- Strong knowledge of cold chain processes, storage requirements, transport handling, and temperature monitoring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with refrigerated transport, cold storage.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to cold chain operations.
