Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for meeting customer needs by servicing existing accounts, generating new business, and driving sales growth. The role involves prospecting new clients through cold calling, site visits, and networking while maintaining and strengthening long-term business relationships. The Sales Representative organizes daily work schedules to maximize market coverage, close deals, and ensure proper follow-up on orders, documentation, and collections.
Sales & Client Management
· Identify and target potential corporate clients in line with IPT Energy’s client categories.
· Prospect new clients through cold calling, site visits, and market scouting.
· Schedule meetings and deliver tailored presentations to prospective customers.
· Build deep knowledge of the company’s products and services to identify growth opportunities.
· Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with existing clients.
· Coordinate with logistics, supply, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments.
· Conduct regular client check-ins, follow-ups, and account reviews to ensure satisfaction.
· Close sales, ensuring proper documentation, contract compliance, and timely payment follow-up.
Collections
· Ensure timely collection of receivables in coordination with the finance team.
· Deliver invoices and ensure compliance with company credit and collection policies.
Reporting & Administration
· Track and report on sales performance against KPIs and targets.
· Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
· Participate in departmental meetings, providing input and executing directives.
· Perform additional duties as assigned while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field.
Previous diesel sales experience preferred, ideally in B2B or industrial sectors.
