We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative with at least 1 year of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting our shipping and logistics services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding (air, sea, and land logistics)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, importers, and exporters
- Generate sales leads through cold calling, networking, and client visits
- Prepare and present quotations to customers
- Negotiate pricing and service terms with clients
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth shipment handling
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
- Strong understanding of shipping processes (import/export, documentation, Incoterms)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred)
- Existing client base or industry contacts
- Experience with CRM systems
- Knowledge of international trade regulations
