Job Summary

The Sales Support & Project Design Engineer will play a key role within the Project Department, providing technical design, project coordination, and sales support for lighting projects. The role involves preparing lighting designs, cost estimations, technical submittals, and documentation while coordinating closely with sales teams, clients, consultants, and internal departments to ensure successful project execution.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Lighting Design & Engineering

• Prepare professional lighting designs and calculations using DIALux in compliance with project requirements, international standards, and consultant specifications.
• Develop detailed lighting layouts, drawings, and schematics using AutoCAD for indoor, outdoor, façade, and landscape lighting projects.
• Select suitable lighting fixtures, control systems, and accessories based on technical performance, aesthetics, energy efficiency, and budget.
• Ensure all designs comply with Saudi standards, project specifications, and approval requirements.

Project Coordination & Sales Support

• Support sales and project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inquiry stage to final approval and execution.
• Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial quotations in coordination with sales and management.
• Prepare and submit technical submittals, including drawings, datasheets, catalogues, and compliance documents for consultant and client approvals.
• Manage follow-up emails, technical clarifications, and coordination communications with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare and submit weekly project progress reports highlighting status, approvals, and pending actions.

Cost Estimation & Bill of Materials (BOM)

• Prepare accurate cost estimations based on project drawings, quantities, and specifications.
• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) for project execution and procurement planning.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure cost efficiency and material availability.
• Support sales teams in developing competitive pricing while maintaining project profitability.

Sampling & Mockups

• Coordinate fixture samples and mockups with suppliers, production teams, and clients for project approvals.
• Track sample submissions, approvals, and feedback to ensure smooth project progress.
• Support site mockups and lighting trials when required.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain organized project documentation including design files, drawings, calculations, reports, and correspondence.
• Prepare and manage technical datasheets, compliance statements, and approval documents as required by consultants and clients.
• Ensure all documentation meets contractual, technical, and regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation upon project completion.

Internal & External Coordination

• Coordinate closely with sales, production, logistics, and finance departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical queries and support timely approvals.
• Participate in internal project meetings and provide technical input and support as required.

Continuous Improvement & Technical Support

• Stay updated on new lighting technologies, products, and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and product knowledge assistance to the sales team.
• Contribute to improving internal processes, templates, and workflows within the Project Department.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in lighting design, project coordination, or sales support is preferred.
• Proficiency in DIALux and AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

• إعداد تصاميم وحسابات إضاءة احترافية باستخدام برنامج DIALux بما يتوافق مع متطلبات المشروع والمعايير الدولية ومواصفات الاستشاري.
• تطوير مخططات ورسومات ومخططات تفصيلية للإضاءة باستخدام برنامج AutoCAD لمشاريع الإضاءة الداخلية والخارجية وواجهات المباني والمناظر الطبيعية.

• تنسيق المشاريع ودعم المبيعات
• دعم فرق المبيعات والمشاريع طوال دورة حياة المشروع، بدءًا من مرحلة الاستفسار وحتى الموافقة النهائية والتنفيذ.
• إعداد ومتابعة عروض الأسعار الفنية والتجارية بالتنسيق مع المبيعات والإدارة.
• إعداد وتقديم المستندات الفنية، بما في ذلك الرسومات وجداول البيانات والكتالوجات ووثائق الامتثال، للحصول على موافقة الاستشاري والعميل.
• إدارة رسائل البريد الإلكتروني للمتابعة والتوضيحات الفنية والتنسيق مع العملاء والاستشاريين والمقاولين.

• التنسيق مع فريقي المشتريات والإنتاج لضمان كفاءة التكلفة وتوافر المواد.
• دعم فرق المبيعات في تطوير أسعار تنافسية مع الحفاظ على ربحية المشروع.

• أخذ العينات والنماذج الأولية: التنسيق مع الموردين وفرق الإنتاج والعملاء بشأن عينات التجهيزات والنماذج الأولية للحصول على الموافقات اللازمة للمشروع.
• متابعة عمليات تقديم العينات والموافقات والتعليقات لضمان سير المشروع بسلاسة.
• دعم إعداد النماذج الأولية في الموقع وتجارب الإضاءة عند الحاجة.

• التوثيق والامتثال: الحفاظ على تنظيم وثائق المشروع، بما في ذلك ملفات التصميم والرسومات والحسابات والتقارير والمراسلات.
• إعداد وإدارة جداول البيانات الفنية وبيانات الامتثال ووثائق الموافقة حسب متطلبات الاستشاريين والعملاء.
• ضمان استيفاء جميع الوثائق للمعايير التعاقدية والفنية والتنظيمية. المساعدة في إعداد الرسومات التنفيذية ووثائق التسليم عند اكتمال المشروع.

• التنسيق الداخلي والخارجي
• التنسيق الوثيق مع أقسام المبيعات والإنتاج واللوجستيات والمالية لضمان سلاسة تنفيذ المشروع.
• التواصل مع العملاء والاستشاريين والمقاولين والموردين لحل الاستفسارات الفنية ودعم الموافقات في الوقت المناسب.
• المشاركة في اجتماعات المشروع الداخلية وتقديم المدخلات والدعم الفني حسب الحاجة.
• التحسين المستمر والدعم الفني
• مواكبة أحدث تقنيات الإضاءة والمنتجات ومعايير الصناعة.
• تقديم الدعم الفني والمساعدة في معرفة المنتجات لفريق المبيعات.
• المساهمة في تحسين العمليات الداخلية والقوالب وسير العمل داخل قسم المشاريع.

• المؤهلات والمتطلبات
• بكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو الميكانيكية.
• يفضل وجود خبرة في تصميم الإضاءة أو تنسيق المشاريع أو دعم المبيعات.
• إتقان برنامجي DIALux وAutoCAD شرط أساسي.
• مهارات تواصل وتنسيق وتوثيق ممتازة.
• القدرة على العمل في بيئة سريعة الخطى وموجهة نحو المشاريع.
