Sales Team Leader for Personal Finance & Credit Cards is responsible for leading, coaching, and driving a high-performing sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets. The role requires a blend of strong sales acumen, leadership skills, and deep product knowledge in personal loans and credit card offerings. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in growing the bank's retail lending portfolio while ensuring a superior customer experience.

Sales Leadership & Target Achievement

● Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Sales Officers/Executives to achieve monthly card issuance and personal finance disbursement targets.

● Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance; take corrective action where needed.

● Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to maximize revenue and market penetration.

● Ensure all team members meet or exceed their individual KPIs.

Product & Portfolio Management

● Drive the issuance of credit cards and disbursement of personal finance products across assigned channels.

● Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within the existing customer base.

● Monitor portfolio quality, ensuring low delinquency and high card activation rates.

● Stay updated on competitor products, pricing, and market trends; provide feedback to product teams.

Team Development & Coaching

● Conduct regular coaching sessions, joint calls, and field accompaniments for team members.

● Identify skill gaps and coordinate with HR/Training to address development needs.

● Onboard new team members and ensure proper product and compliance training.

● Foster a culture of accountability, healthy competition, and continuous improvement.

Customer Relationship Management

● Ensure team delivers a high-quality customer experience at every touchpoint.

● Handle escalated customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

● Build and maintain relationships with key clients, employers, and corporate partners.

Compliance & Reporting

● Ensure all sales activities comply with UAE Central Bank regulations, internal policies, and KYC/AML guidelines.

● Submit accurate and timely sales reports to senior management.

● Ensure proper documentation and CRM system updates for all leads and applications.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

● Professional certifications in banking or sales (e.g., CISI, CBCA) are an advantage.

Experience

● Minimum 3 years of experience in retail banking sales, with at least 1 years in a team leadership role.

● Proven track record in selling personal finance and credit card products in the UAE market.

● Experience managing a sales team of 15+ individuals.

Skills & Competencies

● Strong leadership and people management skills.

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

● Deep understanding of personal finance products, credit underwriting, and card features.

● Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

● Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.

● Fluency in English; Arabic or other languages is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
