Role summary
Responsible for designing, delivering and managing sales capability programs for SMA, Investment Advisory, Fund Sales and Wealth teams. Focus areas include financial product training, personal selling, communication, grooming, compliance, and field coaching. Ensures all client-facing staff operate with high professionalism, regulatory compliance and strong sales proficiency.
Key responsibilities1. Financial Product & Technical Training
· Train on SMA mandates, Investment Advisory processes, mutual funds, asset classes, PSX products.
· Explain risk/return, suitability, asset allocation, performance and compliance requirements.
· Deliver sessions on NCCPL, CDC, KYC, AML, Suitability & SECP regulations.
2. Sales Process & Soft Skills
· Train teams on prospecting, pitching, objection handling, closing and client management.
· Build scripts, objection-handbooks, talk tracks and communication templates.
· Conduct role-play based training and practical simulations.
3. Communication & Professional Grooming
· Teach professional communication, Selling Skill, Personal (1 on 1) selling.
· Train on corporate grooming, etiquette and professional presentation standards.
4. Onboarding & Continuous Development
· Develop onboarding paths for SMA, IA, HNW and Funds teams.
· Run quarterly certification cycles and assessments.
· Build digital learning modules and micro-learning content.
5. Compliance & Ethical Training
· Conduct mandatory AML/CFT, KYC, Suitability, Fair Dealing & Mis-selling prevention training.
· Ensure alignment with BMA governance and SECP guidelines.
6. Coaching & Field Observation
· On-ground coaching, joint client meetings, call monitoring and follow-up feedback.
· Publish progress reports and skill-gap analyses.
Qualifications & experience1. Education
· Master’s degree (Finance/Business/Management/Economics).
· Training certifications mandatory (TTT, Instructional Design, L&D etc.)
· CFA Level I/II preferred (not mandatory).
2. Experience
· 5–10 years in Sales Training / L&D within financial services (brokerage, AMC, bank, wealth advisory).
· Must have delivered financial product + sales skills training previously.
