Salon and Spa Host

We are seeking a personable and outgoing individual to join our front desk team as a Salon and Spa Host at our friendly and upscale midtown Tulsa Aveda salon. Daytime, evening, and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
• Provide outstanding guest care by actively listening to their needs and offering personalized recommendations on Aveda products and services.
• Retail Aveda products with enthusiasm, demonstrating their benefits and assisting guests in selecting the most suitable products for their needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Aveda product lines, staying up-to-date with new releases, features, and benefits.
• Manage reservation system effectively, scheduling and confirming appointments for salon and spa services while ensuring optimal time management for our team.
• Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and booking requests, promptly addressing inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information about our services and pricing.
• Keep the reception area and retail displays immaculately clean, organized, and stocked with Aveda products, creating an appealing and visually appealing environment for our guests.
• Process guest transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment securely.
• Collaborate closely with service providers and other team members to ensure smooth coordination of services and excellent guest experiences.
• Assist with general salon and spa upkeep, such as maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and inventory control.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a salon, spa, or retail environment.
• Passion for the beauty industry and genuine interest in Aveda products and services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests and contributing to a positive and collaborative team work environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively provide information and recommendations to guests.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and appointments simultaneously.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with reservation systems and point-of-sale software.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to our salon's upscale and stylish atmosphere.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, accommodating the scheduling needs of our guests.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and exceeding guest expectations.
