SAP Functional Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP Supply Chain and Inbound Logistics Functional Consultant to join the team of our client, a leading global manufacturing organization based in the UAE.

The SAP Supply Chain and Inbound Logistics Functional Consultant will play a critical role in supporting, optimizing, and transforming supply chain processes, ensuring seamless operations across multiple regions and plants. This role has a contract duration of 12 months with the potential of it being renewed.

Key Responsibilities:

• SAP Functional Consulting: Partner with global business stakeholders to understand supply chain, procurement, and inbound logistics requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

• SAP MM Configuration & Support: Configure and support SAP MM functionalities including Procurement (P2P), Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Master Data.

• Inbound Logistics Management: Manage inbound logistics processes including Purchase Orders, Inbound Delivery, Goods Receipt, and Supplier Collaboration.

• Cross-Module Integration: Integrate MM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, QM, WM, and FI/CO to enable end-to-end supply chain visibility.

• Workshops & Documentation: Lead workshops, create functional specifications, perform system configuration, and support testing and training activities.

• Production Support: Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure timely resolution of supply chain and logistics-related issues.

• Project Support: Support system enhancements, SAP upgrades, and rollout projects across multiple geographies.

• Mentorship: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and mentor for junior team members and business users.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational governance, data quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP functional consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP MM and Inbound Logistics within global manufacturing or supply chain environments.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of procurement processes (direct and indirect), vendor management, inventory control, inbound logistics, transportation interfaces, and warehouse integration. Experience with SAP integration to external logistics systems, suppliers, and 3PL providers. Familiarity with S/4HANA Logistics and SAP Ariba is highly desirable.

• Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, with strong documentation, testing, and training delivery capabilities.

Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Procurement with SAP ERP (MM)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Logistics Execution & Inbound Processes
