Who is a Recruiter?

A recruiter is a professional who specializes in finding, attracting, and hiring talent for organizations. They act as a bridge between a company with an open position and a candidate seeking a new job. Their primary goal is to efficiently and effectively fill vacancies with qualified individuals.

What Do Recruiters Do? (Key Responsibilities)

A recruiter's job is multifaceted and goes beyond just looking at resumes. Their tasks typically include:

• Understanding the Need: Partnering with hiring managers to understand the specific requirements, skills, and culture fit needed for a role.
• Sourcing Candidates: Proactively searching for potential candidates through various channels:
• Job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
• Social media (especially LinkedIn)
• Their own professional network and database
• Employee referrals
• Attending career fairs and networking events
• Headhunting (directly approaching passive candidates)
• Screening & Vetting: Reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screens, and assessing candidates' qualifications, experience, and salary expectations.
• Coordinating Interviews: Scheduling interviews between candidates and the hiring team.
• Facilitating the Process: Guiding candidates through the interview stages, providing feedback, and preparing them for meetings.
• Negotiating Offers: Extending job offers and negotiating terms of employment (salary, benefits, start date) on behalf of the company.
• Closing Candidates: Successfully getting the chosen candidate to accept the offer.
• Administrative Tasks: Ensuring a smooth onboarding process and maintaining candidate records in an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
