Description:

Legal Scheduler – Let's Make Things Happen!

Location: Turtle Creek Area, Dallas, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience

Are You the Person Who Gets It Done?

We're not looking for someone who just manages calendars – we're looking for THE person who makes the chaos work. You know the type: the one who picks up the phone, solves the problem, and doesn't wait around for someone else to figure it out.

If you're the kind of person who thrives on action, loves connecting with people, and gets genuine satisfaction from turning a messy situation into a seamless schedule, keep reading.

What This Role Really Is

You'll be the operational heartbeat of our law firm. Attorneys, paralegals, clients, opposing counsel – they all need to be in the right place at the right time, and you're the one who makes that happen. This isn't a "hide behind your desk and send emails" kind of job. You'll be engaging, coordinating, communicating, and executing – all day, every day.

Your day-to-day:

  • Juggle (and nail) the scheduling of depositions, hearings, mediations, client meetings, court appearances, and everything in between
  • Be the point person everyone trusts to handle their time like the valuable commodity it is (our Attorneys, Paralegals, & Law Clerks bill their time!)
  • Jump on calls, send follow-ups, chase down confirmations, and keep everyone on track without needing to be micromanaged
  • Review calendars daily and weekly to catch conflicts before they become problems
  • Represent the firm with professionalism and personality – because you're often the first voice people hear
  • Delegate smartly to administrative support when needed
  • Handle confidential information with discretion (because, legal world)

Who You Are

You're not just qualified on paper – you're wired for this:

+ Experienced: 3+ years of scheduling experience required (legal scheduling strongly preferred – you know the difference between a deposition and a discovery deadline)

+ People-Powered: You have high interpersonal skills. You like talking to people, building rapport, and being the go-to person everyone trusts

+ Self-Starting Hustler: Hand you a task, and it's done. No follow-ups needed. No reminders required. You own it from start to finish

+ Thrives Under Pressure: Multiple attorneys. Competing priorities. Last-minute changes. You don't just survive it – you thrive in it

+ Communicator Extraordinaire: Whether it's a quick Teams message, a client phone call, or wrangling opposing counsel, you know how to get what you need with clarity and charm

+ Detail-Obsessed (in a good way): You catch the conflicts, spot the errors, and keep everything running smoothly because nothing slips through the cracks on your watch

The Setup

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office after your first 30 days (which are 100% in-office for training and integration)
  • Office location: Turtle Creek area – one of Dallas's best neighborhoods with great lunch spots, coffee runs, and walkability
  • Reports to: Director of Operations
  • Team vibe: Fast-paced, collaborative, and we actually mean it when we say "we've got your back"

Why You'll Love Working Here

This firm values people who take initiative and make things happen. You won't be micromanaged. You won't be stuck in meaningless meetings. You'll have real responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to be indispensable to a team that relies on you.

Plus: great location, hybrid flexibility (after onboarding), and the satisfaction of knowing that when you leave each day, you've actually accomplished something.
