Screen Printing Operator
We are an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing company in Golden Valley looking for a motivated, skilled, and positive individual to join our team as a Screen Printer.
We are seeking an experienced Screen Printer with strong expertise in ink technology, printed electronics, and graphic printing.
This role requires physical lifting and manual material handling. Candidate must be able to lift up to 20 pounds periodically and work on their feet while following all safety best practices to avoid injury.
Responsibilities include:
This role combines hands-on production with technical problem-solving and process optimization.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of specialty inks, substrate compatibility, and precision screen printing for both functional and visual applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Set up, operate, and maintain screen printing equipment for high-quality graphic and functional prints
· Select, formulate, and optimize inks (conductive, dielectric, resistive, UV, solvent-based, water-based, specialty inks)
· Execute and support printed electronics processes, including conductive traces, sensors, antennas, and flexible circuits
· Prepare and inspect screens (mesh selection, emulsion, exposure, registration, tension control)
· Print on a variety of substrates (films, textiles, plastics, paper, glass, ceramics, flexible electronics materials)
· Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and design teams to develop and refine print processes
· Troubleshoot print defects related to ink rheology, adhesion, curing, registration, and resolution
· Manage curing and drying methods (thermal, UV, IR) and verify print performance
· Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards
· Support scale-up from prototype to production, including process documentation and training
· Perform routine equipment calibration, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
· 2+ years of professional screen printing experience, preferably in industrial, electronics, or advanced graphics printing
· Strong understanding of ink chemistry and rheology
· Hands-on experience with printed electronics or functional printing applications
· Proficiency in screen preparation, press setup (manual and/or automatic), and registration
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, artwork files, and electrical or functional print specifications
· Experience with process control, defect analysis, and root-cause troubleshooting
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to print quality and consistency
· Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment with limited supervision and an emphasis on following documented procedures
· Must be detail oriented and quality focused
· Must possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills
· Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working in R&D or pilot manufacturing environments
· Knowledge of industry standards and testing methods for printed electronics
· Basic understanding of CAD or graphic design workflows
Job Type: Full-time
Regular hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00a.m.-2:30p.m.
Work location in person: Must have ability to commute and be present for each scheduled shift

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
