Scrub Nurse

Job Description

• Prepare OT, instruments, implants, and consumables for orthopedic procedures
• Assist the surgeon as scrub nurse during joint replacement, trauma, arthroscopy & spine surgeries
• Maintain strict aseptic & sterile techniques
• Count instruments and materials before & after procedures
• Coordinate with anesthetists, circulating staff, and CSSD teams
• Ensure accurate documentation and handover
• Follow hospital infection control & OT safety protocols

Qualification/Skills

• GNM/Bsc Nursing
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as Scrub Nurse
• Knowledge of orthopedic instrumentation and implants
