Scrum Master

Abacus is looking for a Scrum Master who will be working closely with enterprise clients. You will be given hands-on exposure to Agile project delivery while working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum framework within the team
• Removing impediments and resolving blockers that may impact sprint goals
• Coaching team members on Agile best practices and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment
• Working closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog
• Tracking sprint progress and maintaining transparency using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
• Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality product increments
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
• Promoting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
• Maintaining clear communication with stakeholders regarding sprint progress and team performance
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field from an HEC recognized university
• Around 3+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM or equivalent) preferred
• Experience working in telecom or enterprise-level environments will be a plus
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• A detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• A team player who gets along well with others
• The ability to work on tight timelines
