Seaming Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor seaming machines to ensure proper sealing of laminated rolls or pouches.
• Check and adjust temperature, pressure, and speed parameters to achieve consistent seal quality.
• Inspect seams for uniformity, leakage, or defects and make necessary adjustments.
• Ensure material alignment and tension control during operation.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around the machine and work area.
• Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned jobs.
• Record daily production data, machine settings, and downtime reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the quality department to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Support preventive maintenance activities as per schedule.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Matric / Intermediate or Technical Diploma in relevant field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Seaming Operator in a flexible packaging or pouch-making plant.
• Knowledge of different film structures (PET, BOPP, LDPE, etc.) and their sealing characteristics.
• Ability to understand production instructions and quality parameters.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and quality-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in shifts and under minimal supervision.

Pay: From Rs60,000.00 per month
