The position also entails, critical thinking, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate cross-functional groups and manage a wide range of issues simultaneously. Experience with regulatory advocacy and engagement with trade groups (e.g., American Bankers Association, The Bank Policy Institute and The Clearinghouse) is preferred, with familiarity regarding emerging regulatory issues (including digital assets, cannabis banking and cybersecurity).

Coordinate and manage verbal and written communications with banking regulators.</div></li><li><div>
Provide a strategic mindset with attention to detail regarding bank regulatory issues and interactions.</div></li><li><div>
Identify and communicate key themes and updates from regulator interactions across the organization.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain effective reporting and communication routines to achieve enterprise understanding of key regulatory issues.</div></li><li><div>
Advise on the legal and regulatory implications of bank policies, products, services, and courses of action.</div></li><li><div>
Provide legal support to various management committees, business units, and senior leadership.</div></li><li><div>
Draft comprehensive, high-quality, and accurate analysis and materials for internal and external discussion.</div></li><li><div>
Produce clear and concise legal positions involving highly complex issues.</div></li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li><div>
J.D. from an ABA accredited law school.</div></li><li><div>
Active member in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.</div></li><li><div>
Minimum 10+ experience in bank regulatory law, including in-house, law firm, or regulatory agency roles.</div></li><li><div>
Expert knowledge of U.S. banking law and regulations is required.</div></li><li><div>
Demonstrated expertise in liquidity, capital, stress testing and prudential standards.</div></li><li><div>
Strong understanding of regulatory priorities and supervisory protocols.</div></li><li><div>
Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with ability to synthesize complex concepts.</div></li><li><div>
Proven ability to influence and collaborate across senior level and diverse teams.</div></li></ul>

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $221,656 - $238,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
