 We are seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable (AP) Manager to lead our vendor payments, expense management, and purchase order processes across multiple entities. This role will oversee all aspects of AP, corporate card and T&amp;E policy compliance, vendor onboarding, and payment operations. This position provides leadership and direction to a team of contract managers and contracted personnel while managing multiple large-scale, critical projects simultaneously.
The Senior Manager ensures strict compliance with contract provisions, procurement regulations, and financial procedures, while safeguarding uninterrupted facility operations.
The role requires expert judgment under pressure, the ability to balance multiple competing priorities, and 24/7 responsiveness to emergencies.
Success in this position depends on strong supervisory skills, technical expertise in contract administration, and the ability to drive performance and accountability across a diverse vendor and project portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in project management, Planning, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Must have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience administering or coordinating maintenance or construction contracts, or large-scale engineering projects.
At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience, including direct responsibility for staff development, workload management, and performance evaluations.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated experience with managing service contracts (preferably 50+ contracts at a time or equivalent complexity); vendor/contractor oversight including performance evaluations, compliance monitoring, and issue resolution; budgeting, forecasting, and financial reconciliations for large-scale contracts or projects; emergency response coordination for facilities operations, including storms, power outages, or other critical incidents; cross-departmental collaboration with Engineering, Safety, Procurement, and Legal teams.

Analyze reports and market trend information to understand and communicate the impact of procurements goals.

Advocate recommendations for solution options in conjunction with procurement resources. 
</li><li>
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide recommendations based on business relevance, appropriate timing, cost, risk and quality.

Advise on supply chain options and the associated risks, costs versus benefits, and impacts on products and services and business processes.</li></ul>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred</li><li>
Supply Chain Certification preferred</li><li>
8 &ndash; 10+ years of relevant, professional work experience required</li><li>
Experience with healthcare in positions of progressively increasing responsibility preferred</li><li>
Ability to understand business and financial models to provide expertise and advice on their value to ensure decisions are fiscally responsible and driving value towards business objectives required</li><li>
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, business areas, and of requirements analysis, category management, negotiation, contracting, and spend management required</li><li>
Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders: suppliers, customers &amp; colleagues required</li><li>
Ability to recommend solutions, weighing the risks and impact of those decisions required</li><li>
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) required</li><li>
Proficiency in categories such as clinical services, IT services, &amp; marketing required</li><li>
Technical skills: Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), and data analytics tools is essential required</li></ul>
