Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented <b>Senior Landscape Engineer</b> for Infrastructure, roads and landscaping project to join our team! In this role you will get to <b>assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to assigned works.</b></p><p></p><p><b>
What You'll Be Doing:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Supervise all soft and hard landscape O&amp;M activities across parks, gardens, road corridors, and public areas.</p></li><li><p>
Oversee horticultural works including planting, pruning, irrigation adjustments, fertilization, and pest/disease management.</p></li><li><p>
Provide technical guidance to landscape teams, inspectors, and contractors to ensure compliance with standards.</p></li><li><p>
Review and approve work orders, site instructions, and method statements related to landscape activities.</p></li><li><p>
Conduct detailed site audits to assess plant health, irrigation efficiency, soil condition, and compliance with DMT/DRM requirements.</p></li><li><p>
Review and evaluate landscape design proposals and planting plans for sustainability, aesthetics, and ease of maintenance.</p></li><li><p>
Support the implementation of smart irrigation technologies and water-optimization solutions.</p></li><li><p>
Coordinate with Irrigation Engineers on water demand, seasonal schedules, and resolving irrigation issues.</p></li><li><p>
Performs well-defined field engineering assignments primarily involving constructability reviews and the observation of work in progress</p></li><li><p>
Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards</p></li><li><p>
Assists construction personnel with general technical details</p></li><li><p>
Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline; coordinates application of solutions</p></li><li><p>
Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees</p></li><li><p>
Ensures that personnel of the assigned group engage in safe work practices in compliance with site-specific safety procedures and industry standards</p></li><li><p>
Maintains construction technical catalogs, supplier data, and other literature pertaining to the project</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
What Required Skills You'll Bring:</b></p><ul><li><p>
B.Sc. Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of O&amp;M experiences) practical O&amp;M experience &ndash; agriculture or landscape engineer certificate</p></li><li><p>
Demonstrable experience in all aspects of supervision on major road and general infrastructure and park projects preferably in Abu Dubai.</p></li><li><p>
Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.</p></li><li><p>
Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills<b>.</b></p></li><li><p>
Requires a working knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices.</p></li><li><p>
Registered as a practicing Engineer in Abu Dhabi or having an equivalency certificate issued by Ministry of Education.</p></li></ul><p></p>
