The Communications and Marketing team is seeking a full-time Email and Digital Marketing Associate to focus on the Museum&rsquo;s email programs and digital marketing campaigns to support the growth of Museum visitation and promotion of educational programs. The Associate coordinates the institutional email calendar, drafts copy and builds emails for Marketing and other departments, troubleshoots email issues and pulls lists from the Museum&rsquo;s CRM platform. The Associate also assists in the creation and coordination of assets for various digital marketing campaigns, working closely with the Associate Director of Digital Marketing and external agency partner(s). The Associate also assists, when required, with other marketing and communications initiatives, contributing to the Museum&rsquo;s many promotional efforts. This role reports to the Associate Director of Digital Marketing.<br>

Job duties include but are not limited to:</div><ul>
<li>Build and maintain emails for marketing and other departments across the Museum.</li>
<li>Supervise the creation and distribution of the Museum&rsquo;s email calendar, &ldquo;This Month at the Museum,&rdquo; including writing copy, building emails, coordinating versioning with the Membership team and segmenting the list.</li>
<li>Partner with the Museum&rsquo;s Senior Manager of Analytics to analyze email program performance. Develop insights/reports that can be shared with key constituents and include data-driven recommendations for optimization.</li>
<li>Work with the Marketing team to grow the Museum&rsquo;s use of email as a communications platform by helping to identify and implement new strategies and tools including the use of A/B testing, triggered sends, personalization and dynamic content.</li>
<li>Provide Museum-wide support for use of the Museum&rsquo;s email service provider, Wordfly.</li>
<li>Maintain the Museum&rsquo;s central email calendar and coordinate send schedules between different internal departments.</li>
<li>QA all email builds to ensure they meet all technical and accessibility requirements as well as align with the Museum&rsquo;s style guidelines.</li>

Pay will be determined based on several factors. The hiring range for the position at commencement is based on the type of work and the scope of responsibilities.
