</li><li>Lead risk assessment and risk identification workshops with the EPC Contractor and Owner&rsquo;s Engineer, ensuring all project risks are identified, formally recorded in the risk register periodically, and supported by clear mitigation and action plans.</li><li>
Interact with Sponsors, Lender's Engineer, Insurance Advisers, and O&amp;M teams.</li><li>
Issue progress reports and technical memoranda as required.</li><li>
Supervise milestone completion certificates, invoices, and mechanical completion certificates.</li><li>
Lead/participate as required in technical review committees as they may be defined during the construction period with sponsors.</li><li>
Facilitate the handover of the Project to the O&amp;M Team.</li><li>
Host visitors at the site and manage communications with stakeholders.</li></ul>
Contractual/Commercial<ul><li>
Timely reporting of contractual/commercial variances and proposing mitigation or alternative solutions.</li><li>
Assist in writing contractual letters to stakeholders.</li><li>
Identify and anticipate deliverables to relevant parties.</li><li>
Coordinate progress of commissioning and testing with Off-taker and Dispatch Control Centre.</li><li>
Assist in claims management with Contractors and Service Providers.</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Skill Sets<ul><li>
University Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.</li><li>
Additional qualifications (project management/Construction Management) are preferred</li><li>
15 +years of project and site experience in large scale power projects, some in CCGT projects.</li><li>
Extensive knowledge of utilities and construction of Combined Cycle Power Plants.</li><li>
Experience in large infrastructure project execution.</li><li>
Experience with Turnkey EPC contractors. (with Chinese EPC contractor preferred)</li><li>
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes, contracts, and international standards.</li><li>
Contract/claim management and negotiation skills.</li><li>
Familiarity with BOO project structures, project finance documents, EPC contracts, PPAs.</li><li>
Excellent communication and reporting skills.</li><li>
Ability to work independently and lead teams.</li><li>
