 The Healy Laboratory in the Chemistry Program of the Division of Sciences at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks to recruit a Post-doctoral Associate or Associate Research Scientist starting November 2026. Applicants with backgrounds in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry are encouraged to apply. The research is aimed at developing an automated chemical platform for the synthesis and biological evaluation of natural products as leads for a drug discovery program.  Applicants for the Post-Doctoral Associate appointment must have received a Ph.D. in chemistry or related subject or be within a few months from completion, and with no more than five years post receipt of their PhD. Applicants for the Associate Research Scientist role must have received a Ph.D. in chemistry or related subject, and have at least 3 years of research experience, not including the years of post-doctoral study. We encourage applications from candidates with significant research experience in the synthesis of complex molecules, particularly polyketides. Knowledge of synthetic automation/chemical engineering, biosynthesis or chemical biology is desired, but not required. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and scientific creativity are essential.

 The Center possesses the unique possibility to investigate fundamental questions in astrophysics, astroparticle physics, and planetary physics from several points of view, with the expertise of its members ranging from collecting and analyzing state-of-the-art data on the nature of the visible and invisible matter in the Universe, to detailed theoretical and numerical studies from planets to galaxies, and linking them together cohesively.

 The center fellows will have access to a 70,000-core Infiniband Cluster (Jubail) dedicated to the science division, several GPU-based clusters at NYUAD, and other supercomputer facilities through the CASS network. NYUAD also has guaranteed observing time on the Green Bank Telescope, the Very Long Baseline Array, and Las Cumbres Observatory, and is a participant in SDSS-V.

 The Center for Technology, Economics, and Development (CTED) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications from individuals to be appointed as a Junior Research Scientist (AI-Blockchain Project) for a one-year period, with the possibility of renewal conditional on excellent performance.
 
 
 The Junior Research Scientist (AI-Blockchain Research) will support advanced, quantitatively intensive research at CTED with a primary focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, mathematical modeling, and computational analysis. The Junior Research Scientist will play a central role in supporting research design, algorithmic development, data analysis, and coding tasks across CTED&rsquo;s interdisciplinary projects. Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Yaw Nyarko, and Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI), Dr. Ra&scaron;a Karapand&zcaron;a, the Junior Research Scientist will contribute to AI-driven and blockchain-enabled research related to commodities markets and economic development. The role requires strong foundations in mathematics and computer science, including statistical learning, optimization, simulation, and algorithmic reasoning. The successful candidate will use programming and computational tools (including Python, MATLAB, and related libraries) to develop, test, and evaluate machine learning models; review, proofread, and execute formal mathematical proofs; implement optimization and simulation-based methods; and analyze large and complex datasets. Responsibilities include supporting experimental and field-based research, preparing literature reviews, translating complex AI and mathematical findings into clear written outputs, and contributing to research reports, concept notes, and academic publications.
 
 
 Candidates must hold a Master&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field (e.g., Economics with a strong mathematics background). and have less than five years of relevant research experience; or hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field with any level of research experience. Applicants must have extensive coding experience, and preferably, applicants will have experience conducting field research in emerging countries and working on randomized controlled trials (RCTs). The Research Scientist will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team responsible for collection, c, MEG, EEG, and eye tracking. The tentpole of the CBH is a normative brain database - the first of its kind in the region - that includes structural, functional, and diffusion MRI, behavioral and health measures, genetic information, and lifestyle questionnaires
 
 
 Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Psychology, MR Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field. Postdoctoral experience or equivalent is preferred. This position requires extensive experience with multimodal MRI, including functional and structural MRI and tractography. Experience with big data analysis techniques is essential. Experience working with other large brain databases is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong computational skills and a strong publication record.  In the Sr. Applied Scientist role you will play a crucial part in pioneering research and development across various facets of AI, including but not limited to computer vision, natural language processing, and audio signal processing. Senior Applied Scientist

 The Center for Brain and Health (CBH) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) seeks to recruit a Junior Research Scientist to support innovative clinical and translational research on brain health and disease in diverse populations within the UAE and wider MENA region.
 
 
 The successful applicant will play a central role in the day-to-day execution of human-subjects research studies, working within a multidisciplinary team of faculty investigators, research assistants, clinicians, and students. The position involves coordinating clinical and observational research protocols that integrate advanced neuroimaging, neuromonitoring, and behavioural methods, with a strong emphasis on regulatory compliance, participant safety, and high-quality data collection.
 
 
 Key responsibilities include coordinating participant recruitment and workflow (pre-screening, informed consent, scheduling, and follow-up), maintaining regulatory and ethics documentation, liaising with clinical partners and imaging facilities, and overseeing clinical aspects of MRI, EEG, and MEG sessions. The Junior Research Scientist / Clinical Coordinator will also contribute to the development of standard operating procedures, support training of research assistants and students, track study progress and recruitment metrics, and assist with grant applications, ethics submissions, and progress reporting. The role works closely with dedicated neuroimaging and research assistants who focus on technical data acquisition, imaging pipelines, and analysis, while the Clinical Coordinator leads clinical governance and participant-facing workflows.
 
 
 Applicants must hold a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in psychology, neuroscience, biomedical sciences, nursing, or a related field; a Master&rsquo;s degree or clinical qualification (e.g., nursing, allied health, clinical psychology) is strongly preferred. Candidates should have 2&ndash;3 years of experience coordinating human-subjects research or clinical trials, ideally in neurology, psychiatry, or related areas, and demonstrated familiarity with ethical and regulatory requirements for human research. Experience working with patient populations and/or in neuroimaging or neuromodulation environments (MRI, EEG, MEG, TMS) is highly advantageous. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages spoken in the UAE is an asset.
