We are hiring for #Barista Experience - 3 years to 5 years location - #Oman Looking for immediate joiner.Key Responsibilities:1. Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks (latte, cappuccino, macchiato, flat white, etc.) according to standard recipes. 2. Steam, froth, and texture milk for lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks. 3. Operate coffee machines and grinders with precision; adjust grind size and extraction as needed. 4. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstation. 5. Ensure proper storage of coffee beans, milk, and other ingredients. 6. Handle cash transactions and POS systems accurately. 7. Educate customers on coffee varieties, brewing methods, and bean origin. 8. Manage inventory of coffee supplies and notify the supervisor when stocks run low. 9. Assist in creating specialty drinks or seasonal offerings. 10. Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude with all customers.Requirements:1. Minimum 3&ndash;5 years of experience as a Barista in a caf&eacute;, hotel, or specialty coffee shop. 2. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and latte art. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency. 4. Excellent customer service and communication skills. 5. Knowledge of espresso machine operation, grinder calibration, and milk steaming. 6. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. 7. POSITION OVERVIEW
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while providing warm, attentive, and engaging guest service. This role ensures consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency at the coffee station, contributing to the overall guest dining experience.
KEY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
Beverage Preparation<ul><li>
Prepare and serve all espresso-based and brewed beverages according to Tivoli standards.</li><li>
Create specialty coffees, teas, and signature drinks with consistency and precision.</li><li>
Maintain product quality and ensure proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.</li><li>
Ensure freshness of beans, milk, syrups, and all beverage ingredients.</li></ul>
Guest Service<ul><li>
Greet guests warmly and take orders in a friendly, professional manner.</li><li>
Offer recommendations and upsell beverages and pastries as appropriate.</li><li>
Respond proactively to guest needs and resolve issues with courtesy and efficiency.</li><li>
Maintain a guest-first mindset at all times.</li></ul>
Operational Tasks<ul><li>
Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, blenders, and POS systems confidently.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station and service counter.</li><li>
Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and daily requisitions.</li><li>
Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.</li></ul>
Teamwork &amp; Communication<ul><li>
Coordinate with the F&amp;B team to ensure smooth and timely service.</li><li>
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors about operational needs.</li><li>
Support the outlet during busy periods and assist in other areas when required.</li></ul>
Health, Safety &amp; Hygiene<ul><li>
Follow all food safety regulations and cleaning schedules.</li><li>
Ensure safe operation of all equipment.</li><li>
Report hazards, maintenance issues, or equipment faults immediately.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS &amp; SKILLS
Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>
Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar F&amp;B service role (1&ndash;2 years preferred).</li><li>
Experience in a hotel, caf&eacute;, or specialty coffee environment is an advantage.</li></ul>
Technical Skills<ul><li>
Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and barista techniques.</li><li>
Ability to operate and maintain professional coffee equipment.</li><li>
Basic POS and cash-handling skills.</li></ul>
