The salary range for this role is:
$80,400.00 - $120,600.00

 The Procurement Analyst will work as a partner to the procurement team, our manufacturing plants, and Ardagh suppliers, working as a liaison between the teams to help manage overall relationship and to support spend under management agenda. The Procurement Analyst will utilize existing procurement systems and business processes across the procurement process areas to execute work in a timely fashion. In addition, this role will play a key part in driving the execution of a vendor managed inventory (VMI) program to improve supply chain efficiency, optimize inventory levels, and strengthen supplier collaboration.

About the Role: 
The Associate Merchandise Manager will work directly with vendors and retailers alongside the Merchandise Managers to choose products and analyze pricing and buying strategies. They will use analytical skills and a team-oriented attitude to work through negotiation efforts, promotional offers, and answering vendor or retailer questions. Responsible for developing tactics and managing daily activities for the assigned categories that drive sales and margin for the company and its retailers. The position requires great organization, communication, and a personable individual that can cultivate quality career advancement.</div>

Responsibilities include:</div>
<ul><li>Assist with administration and development of appropriate product mix for retailers/store owners, which includes helping with proper product selection, evaluations, and reviews.</li>
<li>Balance the maintenance of retailer and retail pricing and updating product information.</li>
<li>Respond to retailer questions and explain product choices/changes.</li>
<li>Implement changes made to stocking items and new products.</li>
<li>Aid in the execution of the biannual Market convention preparation process and negotiation of Market (trade show) specials.</li>
<li>Drive large scale negotiations with external vendors.</li>
<li>Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Pricing for all vendor acquisition cost changes.</li>
<li>Implement the development, negotiation, and submittals of promotional offers.</li>
<li>Manage and monitor inventory of the Department to meet both acceptable turns and service level.</li>
</ul><div>Education &amp; Experience:</div>
<ul><li>Four-year degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business-related field or equivalent retail, sales, or wholesale/distribution experience.</li>

This role will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days if you’re located within 50 miles of Battle Creek, Naperville or Chicago office locations. Partnering across Brand, Sales, Media, Insights, and Agency teams, you’ll optimize investment strategies, build test-and-learn roadmaps, and deliver impactful media solutions. Cross-Functional Influence – Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Business Planning, Finance, and Category teams to deliver seamless omni experiences, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution across all shopper touchpoints.
 
Purpose-Driven Activation – Support agency partners in developing and executing integrated plans that are grounded in occasion and driven by brand purpose. These plans should align with customer and category priorities to accelerate online share and drive meaningful engagement.
 
Growth & Investment Strategy – Deliver category growth for customers and consumer growth for Kellanova by recommending full-funnel omni solutions and investment strategies that balance innovation with operating profitability.
 
Data-Driven Agility – Leverage data, technology, and shopper insights to understand evolving mindsets, enabling agile business operations and connecting retail media tactics and omni-investments to measurable commerce outcomes.
 
Performance Optimization – Lead post-program analysis, manage eCommerce business reviews and forecasting, and enhance plans based on results to improve ROI and drive efficient growth across categories, brands, and retail partners.
 
We’re Looking for Someone With
 
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
 Extensive Retailer Media, Shopper Marketing, and Ecommerce experience.
 Significant retailer and media team facing experience with Walmart Connect, Kroger Precision Marketing, Amazon Ads, Sam’s MAP, Roundel or Instacart.
 
Experience in developing marketing, sales, omni strategy and omni commercial plans
 
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and agency partners while driving objective, fact-based solutions .
 
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, compelling stories for diverse audiences.
 
Strong technology and communications knowledge with the ability to influence and collaborate with leaders in both formal and informal settings.
 
Compensation
 
The annual salary range is $144,400 - $189,525, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
