Job Description</div> 
Banyan Tree Doha is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chief Engineer to lead and manage all engineering operations during the pre-opening phase.
The Chief Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth establishment of the hotel&rsquo;s technical infrastructure, equipment, and systems, guaranteeing that all facilities are ready for operation on the opening day.  Sufficient knowledge of piping materials to guide staff in the preparation of piping, valve and SP Item specifications and subsequently ensure purchase to required standards.

 Primary Objective
 
 
 
 Lead a team of engineers and designers within the projects, the overall technical integrity of its work, and ensure that it is equipped to provide the required engineering services to Worley and its clients.
 
 
 
 Specific Accountabilities

 Lead, prepare and deliver with the back-office team for multiple medium/small-sized portfolio projects.

 Deliver electrical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers&rsquo;, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

 Initiate, manage and where required supervise electrical engineering project requirements

 Perform electrical engineering services such as:

 participate in relevant meetings, prepare progress reports, and follow required checking procedures.

 ensure the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.

 provide assistance and advice during procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations, and write purchase orders.

 If required, act as the electrical engineering Lead on specific projects.
 </li>

 outline project requirements including actively promoting workshare, where appropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress, and

Primary Purpose of the Job: 
To serve as the subject matter expert for the planning, design, and execution of complex, high-risk, and non-standard wells (e.g., exploration, HPHT, deep gas). This role is responsible for driving performance optimization across assets, providing expert troubleshooting, and ensuring the highest standards of engineering excellence and HSE performance. The Principal Drilling Engineer acts as a key mentor, is a cornerstone of the technical decision-making process and driving innovation and digitalization at an organizational level, and developing the long-term technical capability of the workforce
 
Required Experience and Skills: 
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive and diverse drilling and workover engineering experience, with at least 5 years demonstrably focused on the design and engineering support of complex and high-risk wells.
 
Technical Knowledge: Recognized as an industry expert in one or more domains (e.g., well control, drilling optimization, HPHT, completions).
 
Expert-level proficiency in a full suite of advanced well engineering software.
 Certification: IWCF Well Control Certification (Supervisor Level) is mandatory. Additional certifications (e.g., Project Management Professional - PMP) are advantageous.
 
Educational Qualifications: 
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred).
