 Specific Accountabilities

 Ensure that contractors comply with all aspects of the Worksite HSE Plan and policy; site regulations, permit to work, WorleyParsons and Customer requirements.

 Ensue that construction contractors adhere to the latest approved for construction (AFC) project drawings, specifications, procedures and site instructions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure by leadership and guidance that contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction contractors. Maintain daily supervisory surveillance checks and records ensuring that contractor&rsquo;s management and supervision are providing safe working conditions and permitting procedures, all required competent personnel, protective equipment, adequate supervision and manpower, with reliable, well maintained equipment to execute the contracted works as per contract schedule and targets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Routinely study, check and review all contractor scope as detailed in drawings, specifications and instructions, ensuring contractors proper interpretation and compliance with the lasted AFC drawings and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure proper change control by issuing Field Instructions for all changes, reviewing Site Queries to ensure responses are appropriate and practical and reviewing Advanced Revision notices prior to issue to contractors to ensure correct use of construction resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure contractors dimensional control methods for checking that the works are properly set out and supervise specialist surveying contractors where necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure Quality inspectors and contractor supervisors carry out the witness, inspection and surveillance checks in accordance with the WorleyParsons Quality Plan and the requirements of the Quality Control Manager.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that contractors are working in the required work areas, locations and elevations and that work sequence and interfaces with other contractors are both coordinated and planned to provide continuous working to meet contract schedules.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all construction materials, embedded items, special fixtures are approved for use and that they are stored, protected and available to workface locations as required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote and maintain WorleyParsons, Customer and contractor best practice working relationships.

The Executive &ndash; Projects is responsible for managing quantity surveying activities and ensuring quality control standards across all retail fit-out, renovation, maintenance, and construction projects. The role supports project planning, cost estimation, vendor management, site inspections, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quantity Surveying
<ul><li>Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQ) for retail projects.
</li><li>Analyze project drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to determine material and labor costs.
</li><li>Monitor project expenditures and track budgets against approved estimates.
</li><li>Verify contractor quotations, invoices, and payment applications.
</li><li>Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work requests.
</li><li>Assist in tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor selection processes.
</li><li>Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and procurement activities.
</li></ul>Quality Control
<ul><li>Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
</li><li>Monitor workmanship quality and material compliance throughout project execution.
</li><li>Identify quality issues, defects, and non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions.
</li><li>Ensure adherence to health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
</li><li>Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and finishes before installation.
</li><li>Prepare quality inspection reports and maintain quality documentation.
</li><li>Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to resolve quality-related concerns.
</li></ul>Project Coordination
<ul><li>Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
</li><li>Liaise with internal stakeholders, store operations teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
</li><li>Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to management.
</li><li>Assist in project handover, snagging, and defect liability management.
</li><li>Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining cost and quality objectives.

<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
</li><li>Professional certifications in Quantity Surveying, Quality Management, or Project Management will be an advantage.
</li></ul>Experience
<ul><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in quantity surveying, project execution, quality control, or construction management.
</li><li>Experience in retail fit-out, commercial interiors, or multi-site project environments preferred.
</li><li>Familiarity with construction contracts, BOQs, estimation, and quality assurance processes.
