<div>The Construction Manager shall ensure that all construction is performed IAW the applicable statement of work and Government-approved construction documents; review shop drawings and product submittals in a timely and accurate manner; and perform and document daily inspections of construction sites and ensure the Government&rsquo;s best interest is served.
Principal Accountabilities
(Typical duties include the following, although specific duties vary by assignment or contract.)<ul>

The Contractor shall track individual projects against construction and service contracts according to the priorities of the 386 ECES Engineering Flight Chief, coordinate installation access with other contractors, perform daily project visits, complete daily reports of each project and coordinate completion of installation work clearance requests (AF Forms 103).

Requirements:<ul>

Must have at a minimum, seven (7) years of construction field experience in all phases of Civil and Building Construction or a two (2) year associate&rsquo;s degree in construction management or related field and five (5) years of field experience.
</li><li>Knowledge of cost controls, contractual and project management of international construction projects.</li>
<li>
Shall also be versed in the International Building Code (IBC), NFPA Fire Codes, British Standard (BS) Electrical Code, and the National Electric Code (NEC) in addition to general construction practices.</li>

Must be able to read, interpret, and decipher all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and related documents); analyze procedures to identify deficiencies, review time/cost estimates, monitor project phasing and ensure adherence to approved safety standards, observe and inspect ongoing construction work, oversee construction record keeping activities, recommend payments to contractors, recommend change orders, review proposed change orders submitted by construction contractors, prepare and submit reports, and keep a daily log of all activities, weather conditions and work quantities.
