 The Contract Manager leads the company&rsquo;s contracting function across vendors and customers, overseeing the full lifecycle from drafting and negotiation through onboarding, compliance monitoring, and renewal. This role combines legal and commercial acumen with operational leadership. In addition to protecting the company&rsquo;s interests, the Contract Manager drives consistency through ownership of templates, playbooks, and clause libraries, and establishes measurable KPIs to improve contract performance and cycle times. The role also provides people leadership by mentoring and managing two junior vendor operations staff, ensuring high-quality execution of day-to-day vendor management. By embedding best practices, tools, and training across the business, the Contract Manager enables continuous improvement in how contracts are executed and governed.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with an in-depth understanding of local contract law and FIDIC conditions of contract.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Prepare, review, and negotiate various contracts, including main contracts, subcontracts, and supply agreements.</li><li>Provide strategic advice on contractual rights, obligations, and risk mitigation strategies.</li><li>Manage all formal correspondence and claims in strict compliance with contract terms.</li><li>Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, including variations, extensions of time, and final accounts.</li><li>Lead the resolution of any contractual disputes or claims in a timely and effective manner.</li><li>Ensure all contractual and commercial practices adhere to company policies and UAE legal standards.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related field.</li><li><b>Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Contracts Manager, specifically within the UAE construction industry.</b></li><li><b>Professional proficiency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.</b></li><li>In-depth knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract and local UAE contract law.</li><li>Proven track record in claims preparation, negotiation, and dispute resolution.</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month</p>
