About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and certified Crane Operator to safely operate various types of cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials, equipment, and structures on construction sites, shipyards, or marine projects.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate mobile cranes (truck-mounted, crawler), tower cranes, or overhead cranes as required</li><li>Perform pre-operational inspections including cables, hooks, brakes, hydraulics, and load charts</li><li>Lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and prefabricated structures according to lift plans</li><li>Interpret hand signals, radio communications, and lift plans to execute safe lifts</li><li>Calculate load weights and ensure crane capacity is not exceeded</li><li>Position crane outriggers and ensure stable ground conditions before lifting</li><li>Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and site supervisors during lifting operations</li><li>Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of crane; report any mechanical issues</li><li>Maintain daily operator logs, lift records, and inspection reports</li><li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company lifting procedures</li><li>Participate in toolbox talks and risk assessments before each lift</li><li>Secure crane after use and follow lockout/tagout procedures when required</li><li>Assist in assembling and disassembling crane components as needed</li></ul>Work Location: In person
