The CASES Court services department services court mandates or endorsed programming at all points in the criminal legal process. CASES operates, alternative to detention (ATD) and alternative to incarceration (ATI) community based programs that are facilitated by the NYS Office of Court Administration (OCA) judiciary. CASES interfaces with multiple stakeholders to support these ATD and ATI program options for thousands of defendants in multiple boroughs. Specifically the arraignment team screens approximately 10,000 defendants a year for ATD and ATI programs, Supervised Releasee and newSTART. Additionally, the ATI intake assessment team screens 500 amount per year to divert people into 3 (three) CASES community based programs, Reframing Opportunity Alternatives and Resilience (ROAR), Nathaniel Community Success (NCS) and Nathaniel Assertive Community Treatment (NACT). All Court services teams are dedicated to the CASES mission and facilitating release and positive court outcomes.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

   Responsibilities:

 <ul>

   Assist Managers of Professional Development, Senior Managers, Directors, and the Chief Attorney Development and Inclusion Officer

   with various projects including providing administrative support to the attorney evaluation and compensation process.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist Managers of Professional Development with practice group specific weekly deliverables, administrative tasks, initiatives and events.
  </li>
  <li>
   Coordinate and attend attorney functions and is a visible part of the Firm culture.
  </li>
  <li>
   Direct attorneys to resources within the Firm to help resolve concerns or issues and coordinate available resources to find solutions.
  </li>
  <li>
   Track department calendar of activities and identifying potential conflicts with other firm events.
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage meeting and program logistics including scheduling, securing meeting rooms, coordinating meeting room set-up and materials, and trouble-shooting.

   Draft and distribute firm-wide electronic invitations.
  </li>
  <li>
   Assist with maintaining and updating all CLE and lawyer training and professional development files and records.
  </li>

   Help coordinate first year associate program and firm-wide training programs.

   Help coordinate inclusion and engagement initiatives and programs.
  </li>
  <li>
   Help coordinate pro bono initiatives and programs.
  </li>

   Perform ongoing administrative tasks for the department such as: update budget tracking spreadsheets and other department reports; department correspondence; maintain files; data entry and database maintenance.
