Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CAFM Operator (Arabic Speaker) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and updating the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system, ensuring accurate data entry, work order tracking, and effective coordination between maintenance teams and clients. Fluency in Arabic and English is required. Key Responsibilities ·      Operate and maintain the CAFM system on a daily basis ·      Log, assign, and track work orders and service requests ·      Ensure accurate data entry of assets, PPM schedules, and maintenance records ·      Generate reports related to maintenance activities and system performance ·      Coordinate with maintenance teams, supervisors, and clients ·      Monitor SLA compliance and update job status accordingly ·      Maintain proper documentation and system records ·      Provide administrative support to the facilities management team Requirements ·      Proven experience working with CAFM systems ·      Minimum 2 years of experience in facilities management or related field ·      Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and good command of English ·      Strong computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel) ·      Good communication and coordination skills ·      Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

 COMP2 / Ruya12 project
 
 within
 
 Subsea Engineering Department.
 
 
 
 
 How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Prepare complete engineering Installation package (installation procedures / rigging drawing / check list dossier / trial lift &amp; load out procedures etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up all the Interfaces with Installation analysis team (naval eng. / structural eng. / pipelay analysis eng.) including input &amp; deeply review of analysis / design report.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up operation phase (including temporary items material procurement, vessel mobilization, subcontractors contract(s) etc.);
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up onshore &amp; offshore operation to technical assist (project side) vessel management team during mobilization / testing &amp; installation phase.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up and manage team of young eng. (method / ops eng) + draftsman for preparation of Installation documents.
 
 
 </li>

 What are we looking for?

 Education: Master&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical/Civil (preferable) or other Engineering degree
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience: Minimum 5-10 years in Installation engineering (including operation follow up / offshore &amp; yard experiences)

 Languages: Proficient in English
 </li>

 Technical Skills / Knowledge with:

 With particular reference (but not limited to) to shallow water activities (S-Lay / Jacket / Deck / Cables / Structures installation)

 Offshore Transportation and Installation Experience

 IT Skills:

 Northwestern University in Qatar invites applications for a full-time open rank faculty position in Humanistic and Critical Approaches to Artificial Intelligence, to be appointed in the Communication Program, with the possibility of a joint appointment in the Liberal Arts Program. We seek candidates with an active research agenda that foregrounds humanistic perspectives on Artificial Intelligence. This may include critical, historical, or theoretical perspectives on AI; AI ethics; algorithms and cultural manipulation; the introduction of critical, interpretive, humanistic, comparative or transnational methodologies in AI research; critical or humanistic perspectives on AI and media industries; or critical understandings of AI&rsquo;s integration with sound, robotics, digital labor, and computation.
 
 
 In addition to a demonstrated research record commensurate with rank, or highly promising research trajectory for emerging candidates with a recent PhD, applicants should show competence in working with globally diverse communities, a strong commitment to excellence in inclusive teaching and mentoring, and dedication to institutional service and shared governance. Teaching expections include two courses per semester , which may include core disciplinary courses, elective courses that speak to their research field, as well as contribution to NU-Q&rsquo;s broader curricular needs. This latter could include Research Methods, AI/Media Ethics, or courses qualifying for our university&rsquo;s growing number of interdisciplinary minors, such as AI and Media, Media and Politics, Strategic Communication, Film and Design, Middle East Studies, and Africana Studies.
