 Analyses risks, implement appropriate controls, commencing each task

 Analyses, diagnose and correct equipment faults

 Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to optimize availability and reliability and quickly return under-performing equipment to design specifications

 Action emergency breakdown repairs to minimize downtime

 Input information to the SAP Plant Maintenance module (eg: create reservations/spending, raise requisitions to procure materials, create closure)
 </li>

 Operate and maintain equipment as per SOP, where applicable

 Think about ways to improve practice and procedures. Recommend improvements to the leadership.

 REQUIREMENTS:

 Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience, in power plant five years.
 </li>
 <li>
 MV/LV switch gears, HV/LV motors, 220KV SF6CB, 11 KV VCB, VFD&rsquo;s, MOVs, HVAC, overhead crane, battery charger &amp; UPS
 </li>
 <li>
 Larger oil filled transformer, Air cooled transformer and on &amp; off load tap charger and its control
 </li>
 <li>
 Electrical protection systems applied at LV switchgear, HV switchgear, Generators, Transformers LV &amp; HV motors
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of industrial electrical equipment used in Power plants and its maintenance
 </li>
 <li>
 Operational and maintenance knowledge of static frequency converter and static excitation system
 </li>
 <li>
 Rigging &amp; Slinging and forklift operations. Knowledge of standard signals for lifting and cable jointing
 </li>
 <li>
 Conversant with EHS principles and practices including Permit-to-Work system and 5S
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of SAP R3
 </li>
