 New Joiners Induction:
 
 
 
 
 1. Coordinate with the recruitment team to plan and arrange induction program for new recruits, as well as advise them on Nakilat&rsquo; and Joint Venture Companies&rsquo; employee relations policies and procedures.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Employees&rsquo; Contracts Administration:
 
 
 
 
 2. Administer all employment contracts, by monitoring company payroll, approving eligible allowance and benefits, while ensuring compliance with the applicable laws and requirements.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Customer Management:
 
 
 
 
 3. Provide escalation support to ensure all queries related to employees are addressed in a prompt manner.

 5. Execute all administrative circulars and decisions (e.g. early retirement program, promotion, employee transfer, penalties imposed on employees, employee loans).

 7. Verify payments to employees (e.g. expense claims, car loans, advanced payments) and obtains required approvals, and loads the approved transactions into the ERP system.
 
 
 8. Review insurance policy and determine medical coverage, as well as ensure that adequate medical insurance is provided to NAKILAT and Joint Venture Companies&rsquo; employees and their eligible dependents.
 
 
 9. Coordinate with IT to ensure maximum utilization of the ERP and other HR related systems.
 
 
 10. Process and communicate employees&rsquo; action letters (i.e. promotions, salary adjustments, disciplinary actions&hellip;etc.).

 11. Oversee maintaining employees&rsquo; data and records, and ensure their confidentiality.

 Overview Of The Role:
 
 
 
 The HRBP is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations across assigned IKEA stores in Egypt, UAE, Oman, and Qatar. Acting as a strategic partner and advisor, they align HR initiatives with store objectives to drive employee engagement, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness. Through implementation of HR strategies, they support talent development, workforce planning, and performance management while upholding a strong IKEA culture.  Supervise the Talent &amp; Culture team to ensure that associate needs are met to the high standard required by the Company and expectations are exceeded. To ensure that the standards of the division meet and exceed the quality standards set.
 
 Provide comprehensive, confidential Talent &amp; Culture support to all associates and managers to support the achievement of our vision and goals.&nbsp; To support the effective management and performance of the T&amp;C and Training function; to maintain and continue to develop efficient T&amp;C systems and services to support the smooth running of the department.
 
 To assist and support associates ensuring effective internal and external communications and promotion of positive associate relations whilst ensuring compliance with the hotel&rsquo;s policies and current legislation.
 
 
 
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Supervising:

 Carry out one to one session, performance appraisals and reviews for all relevant associates on a regular basis ensuring that the hotel&rsquo;s succession planning is upheld.

 Responsible for the welfare and motivation of associates making use of the information obtained through the annual Associate Engagement Surveys, appraisals and frequent one to one.

 Oversee the development of the T&amp;C team, Accommodation team through setting clear business objectives and expectations.

 Conduct regular training with the T&amp;C team &amp; Accommodation team to upskill and develop knowledge.

 Challenge the way things are done and identify and suggest areas for improvements- encourage others to act as change agents.

 Oversee the cleanliness, and safety of associates staying in Accommodation. Liaising with Accommodation Manager to maintain all the accommodation requirements, and associate&rsquo;s satisfaction are meet with high standard.

 Recruitment:
 
 <ul>

 Show a sound understanding of the internal and external marketplace - keep abreast of industry trends and introduce innovative recruitment techniques including the use of overseas job boards.

 Remain proactive in the recruitment process ensuring all vacancies assigned are filled in a timely manner in line with Rosewood Doha&rsquo;s authorised head count and budget for associate level.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and oversee the recruitment of all positions up to and including management roles.

 Analysis of recruitment platforms including time to fill and calibre of candidates.

 Liaise with recruitment agencies as and when required, ensuring competitive rates are negotiated.

 Maintain candidate management system (Avature) ensuring candidates are responded to within the set time.

 Compile job advertisements ensuring maximum coverage of the vacancy, at a minimum of three days on our internal vacancy list.

 Oversee associate referencing procedures in line with company policy, ensuring effective administration and tracking systems are in place and highlighting any risks or anomalies.

 Participate in Career Fairs and College/University open days as requested to represent opportunities within Rosewood Doha and Rosewood Hotels.

 <li>
 Provides support to the Government Relation Team and gets familiar with all government mandatory processes such as nationality quota, entry visa, residence visa, QID and visa renewal, etc&hellip;

 Ensure compliance with all Immigration and governmental requirements in line with Local Law. Conduct a bi-annual audit of all immigration records.

 Employee Relations:

 Report on the hotels&rsquo; leave balance through monthly reporting of holidays taken.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyse sickness absence records monthly and work with HOD&rsquo;s to tackle repeat and support long term absences back to work.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist Managers with the appraisal process as required, review appraisal output with relevant managers to assess and establish training needs and requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Listen to associates that may need to discuss personal issues, ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times and the Assistant DOTC is kept informed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct investigations, disciplinaries and grievance hearings as directed by the Assistant DOTC.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and resolve complex associate relations issues, including disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise managers on conducting and performance related issues within their departments in accordance with company policy, best practice and legislation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure maternity, paternity, parental and other entitlements and rights are observed in accordance with legislation and company procedure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage long term incapacity through ill-health and short term/persistent sickness and absence problems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the flexible working process ensuring associates and managers are aware of the rights and legislation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

 Conduct exit interviews of all associates up to and including management level and communicate details to the Head of the Department/ ExCom to assist with the hotel retention strategy.

 Monitor and communicate three monthly probation reviews with all new associates ensuring reviews are conducted in line with our procedure ensuring alerts are given to the department head, Assistant DOTC &amp; DOTC before completion of the 3-month period.

 <li>
 Monitor the welfare of associates and contribute to the successful operation of the Associate Restaurant to ensure appropriate standards of service and hygiene are maintained.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the planning and execution of social events ensuring maximum participation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the organisation and delivery of the associate recognition &amp; year of service awards and Hotel Communications Meetings.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 T&amp;C Department / Administration:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist with the completion of the monthly turnover/Metrics report.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all processes in place maximise efficiency of the T&amp;C department.

 <li>
 Attend all relevant meetings as requested by the Assistant Director of Talent &amp; Culture, including Health and Safety and Communications Meetings.

 Maintain the department&rsquo;s filing system, ensuring an annual audit takes place.

 Encourage, motivate and support all associates with whom you work.
