<p>We are hiring an experienced <b>Electrical &amp; Instrumentation Engineer</b> on behalf of our client for engineering and project execution works in the UAE. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for <b>Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) systems</b> for substations, RIEs, operator shelters, and related facilities.</p><p>The ideal candidate will bring strong design, coordination, and leadership skills, ensuring compliance with applicable <b>codes, standards, and industry best practices</b> while meeting project objectives related to cost, quality, safety, and schedule.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead and manage <b>Electrical, Instrumentation &amp; Telecom (EIT)</b> engineering activities from project start through completion and handover</li><li>Act as the primary technical point of contact with clients, addressing engineering queries and ensuring project objectives are met</li><li>Perform detailed design of electrical, instrumentation, and telecom systems</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers</li><li>Develop, review, and approve engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, plans, and reports</li><li>Prepare and manage <b>engineering deliverables lists</b> and ensure submissions are aligned with project schedules</li><li>Perform engineering calculations including:</li><li>Cable sizing &amp; voltage drop</li><li>Short circuit calculations</li><li>Cable tray sizing</li><li>Lighting design (Dialux/Relux)</li><li>Load calculations</li><li>Prepare <b>Site Survey Reports, Installation Method Statements, and Design Basis Documents</b></li><li>Coordinate with drafting teams for preparation of layouts such as:</li><li>EIT equipment layouts</li><li>Lighting &amp; small power layouts</li><li>Cable tray layouts</li><li>Review drawings for technical accuracy, constructability, and maintainability</li><li>Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to avoid inter-disciplinary clashes</li><li>Optimize designs to reduce material usage, construction costs, and improve sustainability</li><li>Prepare material requisitions and support procurement through technical and commercial evaluations</li><li>Support estimation teams during bidding with cost inputs and technical guidance</li><li>Conduct site and fabrication yard visits to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications</li><li>Identify design and construction risks and develop mitigation strategies</li><li>Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and project teams</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental standards, and company policies</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all project and design information</li></ul><p><b>QHSE Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with applicable <b>QHSE procedures and standards</b></li><li>Recommend and implement improvements to engineering and departmental processes</li><li>Promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible working culture</li></ul><p><b>Reporting Structure</b></p><ul><li><b>Reports to:</b> Lead Electrical Engineer</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li><b>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Electrical Engineering</b> (mandatory)</li><li><b>12+ years of relevant experience</b> in a similar role</li><li>Strong experience in <b>Electrical, Instrumentation &amp; Telecom systems</b></li><li>Proficiency in:</li><li>MS Office</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li>Revit</li><li>Dialux / Relux</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Candidate</b></p><ul><li>Strong client-facing and coordination skills</li><li>Experience working on substations, industrial facilities, or similar projects</li><li>Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines</li></ul><p>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent</p><p>Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month</p>
