GENERAL SUMMARY

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Participate in the Workshop and the Overhaul activities and coordinate with the Workshop Supervisor in regard to workshop tasks and activities</li><li>

Exercises judgment, based on previous experience, practices and precedents, to identify and solve unique problems in the field.</li><li>
Prepare recommended mechanical spare parts list for overhaul projects at the workshop.</li><li>
Prepare an accurate and detailed inspection report after damage assessment and be accountable for the all the provided inputs in the report.</li><li>
Report any additional scope of work or variations from standard overhaul scope of work.</li><li>

Required Qualifications</h1>
Education: Electrical Engineering discipline
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in installation, Overhauling and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment, and must have previous experience working on Iron Roughnecks and Automated Catwalks, both in Land and Offshore Environments. Factory training drilling equipment, troubleshooting, and programming.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to Travel both Domestically and Internationally. Demonstrated proficiency with technical concepts. Basic understanding of how the team integrates with others. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawings, knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems, good understanding of electrical circuits and electrical schematics, Diagnose, investigate and provide solutions to moderately complex problems, troubleshooting and repair of Oil Drilling Equipment or similar electrically operated equipment. Ability to use communication skills to exchange moderately complex information, typically within own team; uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers. Ability to read schematic and electrical layout drawing. Ability to work for long periods and in extreme environmental conditions. Analytical skills and fault-finding ability. Competent with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Proficient in written and reading comprehension of English.
