<div>The Human Resources Associate serves as the first point of contact for staff and others visiting the Office of Human Resources. The incumbent supports the Office of Human Resources with administrative duties related to benefits and compensation administration, HRIS, payroll, recruitment, compliance reporting and routine office tasks. The Building People, LLC, is seeking a candidate to perform human resources administrative work for the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency &amp; Renewable Energy (EERE) office. The Human Resources Assistant will perform human resources-related administrative work both under general supervision and independently.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Supporting human resources (HR) functions such as: recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, and leave and benefits administration.</li>
<li>Collecting and analyzing data.</li>
<li>Tracking trends and developments in assigned functional areas.</li>
<li>Conducting studies, perform research, and prepare reports.</li>
<li>Reviewing, interpreting, and recommending policies.</li>
<li>Participating in working groups, councils, and committees.</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with DOE HR-related rules and regulations.</li></ul>
