Responsibilities &ndash; Carbonates</b></h2><ul><li>Build stratigraphic frameworks and facies models for carbonate platforms, ramps, reefs and basins.</li><li>Integrate diagenesis (dolomitization, cementation, dissolution) into reservoir understanding.</li><li>Characterize fractures, vugs and karst using FMI/FMS, BTV, azimuthal resistivity and analogs.</li><li>Build dual‑porosity/dual‑permeability models and history‑match carbonate reservoirs.</li><li>Develop carbonate rock types (Lucia/Rosetta) and propagate flow units.</li><li>Use seismic attributes to delineate reefs, shoals, karst surfaces and unconformities.</li><li>Support well placement and geosteering in fractured/vuggy carbonates.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Porous Media, Diagenesis &amp; Reservoir Understanding</b></h2><ul><li>Conduct core description, petrography, thin‑section analysis, SEM and CL.</li><li>Classify porosity types and link rock fabric to reservoir quality and flow behavior.</li><li>Integrate SCAL, NMR, CapP/RelP and MICP into geological frameworks.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Integration with Subsurface Teams</b></h2><ul><li>Collaborate with geophysics, petrophysics and reservoir engineering on FDP and reservoir characterization.</li><li>Optimize horizontal/multilateral wells and completions based on carbonate heterogeneity.</li><li>Support recompletions, workovers and IOR/EOR opportunities.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Process &amp; Planning</b></h2><ul><li>Document lessons learned and maintain geological databases.</li><li>Maintain workflows for location generation, prognosis and drilling proposals.</li><li>Ensure compliance with project management standards and local regulations.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
HSE Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li>Comply with corporate HSE policies and standards.</li><li>Ensure team training compliance and timely QHSE reporting.</li><li>Address geological risks in well planning, completions and operations.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Qualifications / Experience</b></h2><ul><li>Degree in Geology with 15+ years in field development and execution.</li><li>Extensive carbonate experience including facies, diagenesis, fractured/vuggy reservoirs.</li><li>Strong structural and stratigraphic interpretation skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Petrel for geological modelling, mapping and correlation.</li><li>Experience in reservoir characterization, reserves estimation, core description and petrography.</li><li>Knowledge of IOR, mature field optimization, workovers and recompletions.</li><li>Familiarity with probabilistic assessment and uncertainty analysis.</li></ul>
