We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Supervisor to support the supervision and inspection of mechanical and MEP installation works for a large-scale project in Dubai, UAE. This site-based role requires strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, practical construction supervision experience, and the ability to monitor day-to-day installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supervising mechanical installations on large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects, preferably including data center or technically complex construction environments. You will play a key role in monitoring contractor performance, supervising mechanical installation activities, supporting inspections, identifying site issues, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring mechanical works are completed in line with project quality, safety, and schedule expectations. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise day-to-day mechanical and MEP installation activities on site, ensuring works are performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Monitor mechanical works, including HVAC systems, chilled water systems, ductwork, piping, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, pumps, valves, mechanical plant equipment, and related MEP installations. Conduct and support site inspections to verify installation quality, progress, workmanship, and compliance with project standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, MEP engineers, consultants, QA/QC teams, HSE teams, commissioning teams, and project management representatives. Review and comment on mechanical method statements, shop drawings, material deliveries, inspection requests, test packs, and site documentation as required. Assist in resolving technical queries, RFIs, design clarifications, coordination clashes, and site issues related to mechanical and MEP works. Maintain accurate daily site records, including progress updates, manpower reports, inspection status, site observations, constraints, and issue logs. Support the preparation of progress reports, site updates, punch lists, NCR follow-up, testing records, and closeout documentation. Coordinate mechanical works with civil, structural, architectural, electrical, ICT/ELV, controls, commissioning, and operations teams to ensure proper interface management. Support pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, handover, snagging, and closeout activities for mechanical systems. QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications: 15+ years of experience in mechanical supervision, MEP installation supervision, site engineering, construction supervision, inspection, or mechanical construction management within large-scale building, infrastructure, industrial, or mission-critical projects. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Strong experience supervising and inspecting MEP and mechanical installation works on active construction sites. Solid understanding of mechanical construction methods, installation sequencing, inspection requirements, quality standards, and site execution practices. Experience supervising mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, ductwork, piping, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, pumps, valves, and mechanical plant equipment.
