 Wood is recruiting for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join its Projects team in Salalah, Oman
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Hold the role of sites Senior Commissioning Engineer responsibilities looking after the interest of the Salalah/Musandam SFR project from construction phase till the project close out phase covering (but not limited to) pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, performance tests, facilities handovers and site trainings activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all HSSE and other relevant OQ policies and standards, statutory requirements are complied with throughout pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing/guarantee run and handover phases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage contractors ORA &amp; CSU teams and resources ensuring that all project ORA &amp; CSU assignments, tasks and deliverables are accomplished.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide trainees coaching and sites training supports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Regularly communicate project ORA &amp; CSU status, challenges, achievements, deviations, changes to project management team and subordinates. Address action plans and way forwards as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that ORA &amp; CSU project activities and related deliverables are incorporated into overall projects schedule. Maintain and monitor progress of all C&amp;SU phases (Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-Up, Performance/Guarantee Run &amp; Handover) against the overall project schedule in coordination with project teams and EPCC contractors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical advisory support to project, engineering, procurement, construction, interface, HSSE and asset owners teams whenever required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that asset owners are engaged into various project phases capturing and delivering agreed O &amp; M expectations and requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that C&amp;SU phases are executed flawlessly and that projects are handed over to the asset owner whilst maintaining business continuity and steady operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage into projects SGR&rsquo;s review cycles ensuring that all related actions are concluded and that updated project operating philosophy is available and approved.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that Right First Time (RFT) programs are implemented across all applicable projects in coordination with Quality department.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that means of ORA &amp; CSU activities tracking and reporting system is implemented for all individual projects in form of dashboards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that projects risk&rsquo;s workshops and lesson learns sessions are implemented and that all outcome related actions are followed up and closed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the day-to-day C&amp;SU activities of the project at sites with contractor team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all projects certificates are signed off as appropriate for all phases. This includes all pre-requisites fulfilments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that commissioning management system software is being utilized in projects and that systemization procedure, ITR&rsquo;s/check sheets are being utilized for traceability purposes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the readiness of performing projects PSSR&rsquo;s and that all ORA &amp; CSU actions are closed out as appropriate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all project contractual obligations are delivered. This includes operating manuals, SOP&rsquo;s, vendor documentations, specific procedures, special tools/equipment&rsquo;s, trainings, etc&hellip;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the on-site availability of all required consumables (first fill), temporaries, and commissioning/start-up/operating spares and ensure utilities and feedstock are made available before the issuance of RFSU certificate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that all relevant HSSE, process safety and integrity technical studies requirements are captured in FEED and EPCC contract scopes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage all project interfaces from C &amp; SU prospectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support in drafting, reviewing and accepting C &amp; SU procedures.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum qualification for this position is a Bachelor's degree in Process/Chemical Engineering.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have an overall +15 experiences in operations, process and C &amp; SU activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possesses solid technical experience in C &amp; SU activities for similar related projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Have project engineering practices, interface and construction backboard experiences.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess technical abilities to review and draft C&amp;SU procedures, plans, philosophies, preparing presentations, etc&hellip;
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of operational and engineering best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good knowledge of CMS and PSSR.
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer knowledge in MS Office applications like MS Word, MS excel etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leadership and people management skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possess analytical thinking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Problem solving skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 English Language strong communication, verbal and written skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Presentation and Coaching Skills.
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
