<div>About the Role 
As a Senior Officer in Occupational Health &amp; Safety (OHS), you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and maintenance of health and safety practices across our organization. Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health &amp; Safety within the Aviation &amp; Aero Engine MRO division, you will be responsible for executing approved OHS procedures, conducting routine safety inspections, assisting in incident reporting, and maintaining compliance records. Your contributions will support audit preparations, approvals, and risk assessments while ensuring that complex issues are escalated appropriately.
Your Responsibilities 
<ul><li>
Assist in implementing OHS procedures by applying approved policies at the operational level and identifying opportunities for process improvements.</li><li>
Conduct scheduled workplace inspections and surveillance to identify hazards and unsafe practices, documenting findings and escalating issues as necessary.</li><li>
Support risk management activities including hazard identification, basic risk assessments, and maintaining the risk register under supervision.</li><li>
Assist in incident reporting and initial investigations by collecting data and documenting incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.</li><li>
Help prepare and organize documentation required to maintain company OHS approvals and ensure accurate employee OHS records.</li><li>
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, accompanying auditors, and responding to basic queries with guidance.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of OHS records, including personal files of applicants and approval holders.</li><li>
Assist in delivering OHS awareness sessions and circulating safety communications to foster a culture of safety.</li><li>

Who we are looking for 
We seek a dedicated professional with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health &amp; Safety or a related field. Candidates with training or certification in OSHAD, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred. You should have 2 to 3 years of experience in OHS roles, ideally within an aviation or MRO environment, with exposure to audits, inspections, and incident reporting.
Key competencies include a solid understanding of OHS regulations and OSHAD compliance, workplace inspection skills, familiarity with incident investigation support, and knowledge of safety risk assessment methods. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team are essential for success in this role.</div>
