We are seeking a highly organized and professional <b>Legal Assistant</b> to join the firm&rsquo;s expanding team. This role provides direct exposure to all aspects of plaintiffs&rsquo; side litigation and the chance to work on high-stakes class and representative actions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to supporting attorneys in delivering exceptional results for clients.</p><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></h4><p></p><ul><li><p>
Assist attorneys with case management, including client and witness interviews, drafting summaries, and organizing case materials.</p></li><li><p>
Draft legal documents, file motions, pleadings, and ensure compliance with court procedures.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain case files, track evidence, exhibits, depositions, and other key materials.</p></li><li><p>
Input and manage deadlines, court dates, depositions, hearings, and client meetings in the firm&rsquo;s calendaring system.</p></li><li><p>
Calculate and double-check deadlines according to relevant statutes and court rules.</p></li><li><p>
Manage scheduling conflicts and assist with special projects as assigned.</p></li><li><p>
Maintain organized records and enter documents into the firm&rsquo;s database.</p></li><li><p>
Perform other duties as needed, ensuring confidentiality and professional discretion at all times.</p></li></ul><p></p><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Qualifications:</b></h4><p></p><ul><li><p>
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.</p></li><li><p>
Strong interpersonal and client service skills.</p></li><li><p>
Understanding of legal principles, court procedures, pleadings, and legal research.</p></li><li><p>
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.</p></li><li><p>
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.</p></li><li><p>
