Responsible for the establishment of SHE and Quality Systems 
across Maintenance in support of Operations. This role will conduct the day to 
day management of SHE and Quality Assurance Activities within all Maintenance 
areas.

<div>Duties and Responsibilities:</div>
<div></div><ul><li>Assisting the Maintenance Managers in managing the 
maintenance audit programme, including an annual review of previous 
findings.
</li><li>Co-ordinate the units internal audit programmes, 
including:
</li><li>Routinely highlight non-compliances within 
maintenance prior to audit
</li><li>Briefing the Maintenance Managers on the audit 
status.
</li><li>Analyse the results from previous audits and follow 
up outstanding actions.
</li><li>Routinely undertake visits to all maintenance 
locations.
</li><li>Use publicity to raise SHE and Quality profile, 
awareness and issues.
</li><li>Conduct audits, inspections in accordance with 
internal procedures and OHSAS 18001/ISO 14001 requirements, to agreed and 
communicated schedule
</li><li>Investigative SHE accidents, incidents and 
non-conformances, producing comprehensive reports with root cause analysis 
in line with procedural requirements within agreed timescales
</li><li>Support SHE workshops are undertaken in business 
areas, aligned to the schedule
</li><li>Act as the focal point for all SHE and Quality 
Assurance issues within Maintenance Areas
</li><li>Maintain currency of personnel with respect to SHE 
and Quality awareness by;
</li><li>Ensuring compliance to the MOE through 
implementation of the QMS.
</li><li>Promoting the company Quality and Safety 
Policies.
</li><li>Leading and promoting continuous improvement 
initiatives through effective auditing, process improvements, data 
analysis and Maintenance patrols.
</li><li>Ensuring awareness of Quality principles and 
practices across Maintenance.</li>
<li>Ensuring awareness of SHE principles and practices 
across Maintenance.
</li><li>Conduct robust root cause analysis to NCR findings 
from within Maintenance or externally by the Assurance function or 3rd 
party
</li><li>Delivery of SHE briefings in conjunction with the 
Training Cell Supervisors
</li><li>Embrace and actively demonstrate positive SHE 
behaviours
</li><li>Support the Medical department as appropriate with 
focus on early intervention and rehabilitation of injured parties

<div>Key Accountabilities / Performance Measures:</div>
<ul><li>Performance indicators &ndash; Ensure the effective 
management of Quality and SHE audit activities by setting delivery targets, 
monitoring progress and developing performance improvement 
programmes.
 
</li><li>Completion of activities &ndash; Ensure all SHE and Quality 
activities are appropriately documented and appropriate records are maintained 
on relevant systems (IT/paper based). Ensure all activities are performed by 
suitably qualified, experienced and authorised personnel. Ensure the 
integration of SHE and Quality activity within the business, including the 
engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process. Provide support 
and guidance to the teams
 
</li><li>Procedure/standards &ndash; Support the Management of the 
maintenance team compliance with the appropriate SHE and Quality legislation, 
its associated procedures and standards, and any other Company procedures and 
standards, as applicable. Identify, propose and implement change as required, 
whilst ensuring compliance
 
</li><li>Safety Management System &ndash; Promote the application of 
Human Factors, Error Management, Risk Management and Safety Assurance within 
the maintenance team, together with the proactive analysis, mitigation and 
management of Hazards
 
</li><li>Management System Assurance &ndash; Ensure the maintenance 
team activities are compliant with the Regulatory Governance and Assurance 
framework. Ensure Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits are 
supported by Continuing Airworthiness Records personnel and integrated within/across 
teams. Manage the response to audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner 
and provide information into the relevant reviews. Generate and implement 
effective improvements within/across teams to overcome any non-compliance and 
monitor effectiveness

<ul><li>The role holder is 
required to hold one or more of the following QCF/NQF Level 5 (or higher) SHE 
qualifications (for this post the role holder must hold a Safety qualification 
as a minimum)
</li><li>NEBOSH National 
Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health
</li><li>Level 5 NVQ in 
Occupational Safety and Health Practice
</li><li>NEBOSH Diploma in 
Environmental Management
</li><li>IEMA Diploma in 
Sustainable Business Practice
</li><li>Safety, Health and/or 
Environmental Honours Degree (Bachelor&rsquo;s or Higher)
</li><li>Equivalent 
qualification in Safety, Health and/or Environmental subject
</li><li>Recognised assurance 
auditor qualification, complimented with vocational experience acceptable to 
the approving competent authority
</li><li>Additionally, the

<div>The Project Engineer will assist the Package Lead and Project Management team in administering the project management and construction supervision functions across the day-to-day activities on a large project. The Project Engineer will participate in review and approval of all submittals and shop drawings by the contractors and will be involved in quality control and quality assurance by undertaking daily site inspections and witnessing testing &amp; commissioning.
Under the direction and guidance of the Package Lead and Project Management team, performs daily site inspection tasks to confirm the compliance and quality of the construction works by contractors. Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, specifications and contract drawings/ shop drawings. Document non-conformances and may participate in determining appropriate resolution.
Key roles and responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee and inspect all construction work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.
</li><li>Follow-up with the contractors&rsquo; construction and quality assurance &amp; control team.
</li><li>Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction work and monitors it for improvement.
</li><li>Performs works inspection requests and material inspection requests on a daily basis.
</li><li>Support the Lead Engineer in reviewing construction submittals, shop drawings, method statements, as-built drawings, o &amp; m manuals, spare parts etc., from project construction commencement to close-out including defects liability period.
</li><li>Collaborates with project and construction management team to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of project team/ stake holders.
</li><li>Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current revision level and correct technical execution of the work.
</li><li>Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensure progress on site.
</li><li>Witnessing the quality control testing as necessary.
</li><li>Witnessing the Testing &amp; Commissioning tasks.
</li><li>Monitors the physical progress percentage and report to the Package Lead/ Planning Lead/ Quantity Surveyor.
</li><li>Organizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final project turnover and report.
</li><li>Initiates and maintains records, back charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.
</li><li>Provides comment and status on the work inspection requests, organize to release to the contractors in timely manner.
</li><li>Comply with Internal KPIs for timely site inspections and releasing of inspection comments.
</li><li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
</li></ul>To be successful in this role, you should have:
<ul><li>Degree in relevant Engineering disciplines (minimum four years course or longer) &ndash; Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics (for ELV systems).
</li><li>Minimum of 10 to 12 years postgraduate years of work experience and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in GCC countries.
</li><li>MME registration in Qatar is preferred.
